Mobile based MMORPG Warspear Online has apparently just gotten the memo: other iOS and Android games are doing well as “free to play,” and its subscription fee may actually be holding it back. A recent update to the game removed that price barrier and it is now free to install and play. This 2D retro MMO has also included other improvements, such as new skills, PvP, and a completely new zone including neutral merchants who will deal with characters of either faction. Developer AIGRIND LLC included “Sound” in the list of additions, leading us to understand that previously, the game was completely silent. It is little wonder that a subscription model didn’t quite work out for this title.

Check out the game on its official website where you can learn more about the factions, classes, abilities and thepersistent world of Warspear Online. The site also hosts a forum for players to chat and ask questions.
