It’s hard to believe that an MMO can last that long, especially in today’s market of new ventures that fail within a few months. However, CipSoft Gmbh’s best known game is celebrating 15 years of service this month. Players can find daily events from NPCs in the game, and can congregate in the capital city of Thais for a special King’s Day holiday.
Tibia began as a student project and still has more than 300,000 steady players, some of whom have been playing for more than 10 years. That’s quite an accomplishment! A new island, Nostalgia, has been added to the game, and two content updates go live every single year.
Tibia is free to play, easy to pick up and offers hundreds of quests in a wide-reaching game world. You can find out more by following the link to the game’s official website.
