The next content update, scheduled to go live at the end of August, has been announced for The Secret World. Issue #2: Digging Deeper will explore the Kingsmouth Code’s Pastor Henry Hawthorne and his connection to this seaside town’s history.
Digging Deeper will also feature more investigation missions, two new Nightmare Mode dungeons (the Facility and Hell Eternal), the Ockham’s Razor barber shop and the Modern Prometheus plastic surgery suite.
Finally, Funcom rounds out the content update patch with the first auxiliary weapon, the rocket launcher, and an 8th ability hot bar slot to hold it. Of course, you’ll have to collaborate with the Council of Venice and travel to a new location to earn your handy new weapon.
Look for Issue #2 to drop on August 28, and keep in mind that The Secret World plans to release monthly content patches like this one so there will always be something new to uncover.
