Sony Online Entertainment’s 2007 fantasy MMO Vanguard: Saga of Heroes will be getting a new content update soon, according to a post on the game’s official forums. After its recent switch to a free to play model, Vanguard’s senior game designer Silius said that the team is still working on bug fixes and is putting the finishing touches on a new content release.
Due out “in the next week or so,” the update will include a new overland raid, more marketplace items, and a new system designed to encourage exploration throughout the Vanguard universe.
Vanguard also offers a gold membership option for those players who like having access to all the playable classes and races in the game, along with additional character slots. Until the end of August, you can save on your Vanguard gold membership on the game’s official website.
