A new content update patch has been released for the popular, free to play, Taiwan-based MMO Runes of Magic, according to a blurb on the game’s official website. The patch fixes a few bugs, improves the game performance, and adds content to the game.

Additionally, some of the character abilities have also been freshened up. For example, Bleed effects work a bit differently than before and Random Attribute Extraction stones have been fixed. The Bleak Midwinter holiday event content is now live in the game, and the cash shop is selling convenience items for the event at a greatly reduced cost.

Runes of Magic runs on a World of Warcraft-esque theme and offers an unusual dual-class system for greater character customization. You can get the full scoop at the official Runes of Magic website. The game is developed by Runewaker Entertainment and published by Frogster Interactive.
