The Legend: Legacy of the Dragons or War of Dragons game is a very solid browser game that features a skill-based combat system, the typical slew of puzzles and quests for browser games, and a player-run economy. The game has a fantasy theme, and runs using Macromedia Flash instead of having its own stand-along installation program. Despite using Flash, War of Dragons has very nice graphics, and a high level of depth.

The most outstanding feature of the War of Dragons game is easily its combat system. A lot of browser games simply have two players take turns hitting each other based on their stats and various dice rolls. However, War of Dragons uses a completely different system where every decision and every action has to be completed by the players themselves in real time. Combat has both physical and magical elements, and players can even use pets in combat that they have trained themselves.

War of Dragons also features an economy based on copper, silver, and gold coins: 100 copper coins equals one silver coin, and 100 silver coins equals one gold coin. All items in the game can be earned by grinding out these coins and purchasing equipment directly, as opposed to some browser games that require players to pay real money to access special content.
