You may be shocked to hear that NCSoft has actually sold out of the digitally distributed copies of their upcoming monster MMO, Guild Wars 2. Who would have thought that the seemingly endless method of delivering the game had a bottom?
Unfortunately for any early adopters who were putting off purchasing, that’s just what happened. Developer ArenaNet says that they limited the number of digital licenses they would sell in order to ensure a smooth launch.
A quick visit to the official Guild Wars 2 website shows that the ”Buy Digital” link is once again active, and those who pick up the game will still be able to get into the beta during the next open weekend.
If you’re interested, buy your copy now and you’ll get your key and a link to download the client. Pre-purchase and you’ll also receive a ton of in-game goodies and special items. You know you’re going to end up playing it, so why not get in on the action early, ahead of the crowd– wait, it’s already too late for that, isn’t it?
