The Grand Chase game keyboard-driven, free-to-play MMORPG. This game has servers in the United States as well as some Asian countries such as Korea and Taiwan. Players create a character in which they control in an anime-esque setting. Users are required to earn Game Points, complete quests and individual missions, upgrade equipment, and participate in combat in order to progress in this game.
Although, this Grand Chase is free-to-play there are some items that can only be purchased with real money. Purchasing these items tend to lead to a better experience when it comes to game play.
The first time you play, you will only be able to pick between three characters at first. As users progress in the game, you are able to unlock more characters. The character used can be switched before going into combat.
A character’s power is determined by his or her experience points. When an experience point cap for a certain level is met, characters progress to the next level and become stronger and more adapt at combat in the dungeons. Parties of multiple players can be formed to defeat creatures in the dungeon faster and therefore get more spoils.
There is also player versus player in this game, which is different from combat in the dungeons. This is where you fight to defeat other real-life players.
