CrimeCraft is a free-to-play shooter MMO with some interesting twists. In this game, players become a gun-totting vigilante during the aftermath of a future global economic crisis. As they fight for their survival in Sunrise City, they progress and advance their characters, find out the story behind the crisis and learn how to join a gang. Gang wars are commonplace in the world of CrimeCraft, and players must learn how to protect their fellow gang members and win the war to bring home the most rewards.

Unlike many MMOs, CrimeCraft is unique because it combines two genres. It is both a 3rd person shooter and an MMORPG. As players advance their characters, they gain experience and new gear, much like standard RPG progression. Players can also explore crafting and instanced combat in CrimeCraft. The gameplay during combat is FPS style, and uses the Unreal 3 engine.

There are a few community-building MMO features in the game. Daily and weekly PvP tournaments are held in CrimeCraft that offer rewards for the winners. The developers also promise in-game events.

CrimeCraft is developed by Vogster Entertainment, and was launched in 2009. Since then, it has experienced one major expansion, also known as BLEEDOUT.
