With the mass of games in the free to play MMORPG genre, the Aika Online game tries to set itself apart from the others. The story is pretty simple, demons are trying to rid the land of humans so they have enslaved and tainted the creatures to fight against them.

There are six different classes from which the player can choose from. These classes are Warrior, Paladin, Rifleman, Dual Gunner, Warlock and Cleric. Each class offers a variety of different play styles.

Players partake in dungeon exploring in groups or even solo dungeons. They can also craft and take on quests from NPCS. Players can join Nations which allow players to partake in large scale player vs player battles.

What sets the game apart from others is that players get a pet called Prans to follow them around and fight alongside them. These Prans can be attuned to Fire, Water or Air elements which affect the player’s stats, attacks and give beneficial buffs that increase defense, health, and critical chance. The Pran levels and grows into an adult over time, the player can also change outfits of the Prans, and so no two will ever look alike.

Like other free to play games, Aika Online’s cash shop offers a variety of things from items that boost stats, to fashion accessories for the Prans.
